Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Fix Med Spa (also referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit fixmedspa.com, submit a website form, communicate with us, or use a feature that links to this Policy.

This Policy applies to our website and related online communications. It does not replace our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. If Fix Med Spa is subject to HIPAA, medical information created or received while providing health care is handled under that separate Notice and applicable law.

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address.
  • Appointment and service information, such as services of interest, preferred appointment dates and times, consultation requests, voucher or promotion selections, and scheduling details.
  • Information you choose to provide, including questions, concerns, messages, form responses, and other content you send to us. Please do not use a general website form for emergencies or include more medical information than is reasonably necessary for your request.
  • Transaction information, such as appointment deposits, purchases, or payment status. Payment card information requested by a third-party booking or payment provider is submitted directly to that provider and is subject to its privacy practices.
  • Device and internet activity, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, links selected, dates and times of visits, approximate location derived from IP address, and interactions with advertisements or communications.
  • Communication preferences, including whether you have agreed to receive calls, emails, or text messages and any opt-out request.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from service providers that help operate our website and appointment systems, and from advertising or analytics partners.

How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to questions and consultation requests;
  • schedule, confirm, manage, and follow up on appointments;
  • provide requested services, promotions, vouchers, and customer support;
  • communicate by phone, email, or text message in accordance with your choices and applicable law;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services;
  • understand website traffic, measure advertising performance, and develop relevant marketing;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other unlawful activity;
  • maintain business records and enforce our Terms & Conditions; and
  • comply with legal, regulatory, licensing, and professional obligations.

Cookies, pixels, analytics, and advertising

Our website and third parties acting on our behalf may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies. These tools may collect device identifiers, IP address, browsing activity, page URLs, referral information, and interactions with our website or advertisements.

We use these technologies for purposes that may include:

  • Essential functions, such as remembering display preferences, maintaining website security, and supporting booking-related functionality.
  • Analytics, including Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, to understand visits, page performance, and how people use the site.
  • Advertising and measurement, including Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, to measure campaigns, record actions such as appointment-link selections, and help present or evaluate advertising.
  • Third-party features, such as reCAPTCHA, maps, social-media links, and embedded appointment tools.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect some website features. Browser “Do Not Track” settings are not uniform, so our website may not respond to them. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a supported browser-based opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will treat that signal as a request to opt out for that browser or device.

When we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Website, hosting, and form providers, including Netlify, that host the site and process website submissions.
  • Scheduling, practice-management, and payment providers, including AestheticsPro/MyAestheticsPro, when you book or manage an appointment.
  • Analytics, advertising, and security providers, including Google, Meta, Cloudflare, and reCAPTCHA providers.
  • Communications providers that help us deliver email, telephone, or text-message communications.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to obtain legal, accounting, insurance, or security services; comply with law; protect rights and safety; or respond to lawful requests.
  • A successor or transaction participant in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

These third parties may have their own privacy practices. Links to third-party websites and embedded services are governed by the third party’s terms and policies, not this Policy.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information for money. Some state privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough that disclosing online identifiers and browsing activity to advertising providers for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a sale or sharing. Our use of Google Ads and the Meta Pixel may fall within those definitions.

You may ask us not to sell or share your personal information by contacting us using the information below. We will process requests as required by applicable law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Email, telephone, and text messages

If you ask us to contact you or provide the required consent, we may communicate with you about your inquiry, offer, or appointment by email, telephone, or text message. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing services.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in the message. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may also contact us directly. We may still send non-marketing communications that are necessary to respond to you, manage an appointment, or provide a requested service.

Email and ordinary text messages may not be secure. Do not use them for emergencies or send sensitive medical details unless Fix Med Spa has instructed you to use an approved secure method.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and appointment records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, regulatory, and security obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the context in which it was collected, and applicable requirements. We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

California privacy rights

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information described by California law: identifiers and contact information; customer-record information; commercial, appointment, and service-interest information; internet or other electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation derived from IP address; communications; inferences about interests; and sensitive personal information that you voluntarily include in a message or service request. The sources, purposes, and recipients of these categories are described in the sections above.

We may disclose each of these categories to service providers and contractors for the business purposes described in this Policy. We may also disclose identifiers, internet activity, approximate location, and related inferences to advertising providers. As explained above, those advertising disclosures may be considered “sharing” under California law even though we do not sell information for money.

California residents may have the following rights, subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, and other applicable law:

  • to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources and purposes of collection, and the categories of recipients;
  • to request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions;
  • to request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
  • to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and
  • not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.

To submit a request, email info@fixmedspa.com, call (818) 248-9575, or write to the address below. Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate your records. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf as permitted by law, but we may require proof of the agent’s authority and identity verification.

These rights apply only where the relevant law covers Fix Med Spa and the information at issue. Certain information may be exempt, including information governed by HIPAA or other medical-privacy laws.

Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without legally valid authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact us so we can review and, where required, delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
