Advanced Anti-Aging & Skin Rejuvenation

Turn Back Time on Your Skin (And How You Feel About It)

We get it - looking in the mirror and noticing new lines, uneven texture, or that “tired” look can be really disheartening. Maybe you’ve started avoiding photos, or you find yourself constantly thinking about how your skin used to look. These feelings are completely normal, and you’re definitely not alone.

At Fix Med Spa, we’ve helped countless patients regain their confidence by addressing the signs of aging that bother them most. Our approach combines three proven treatments - advanced laser resurfacing, medical-grade peels, and FDA-approved neurotoxins - to help restore that youthful radiance you remember.

What sets us apart? We don’t just treat your skin - we understand how aging affects your confidence. Our medical team takes the time to listen to your concerns and create a personalized plan that addresses what matters most to you.

How We Help Your Skin Look Its Best Again

The science behind beautiful skin isn’t complicated - it’s all about working with your skin’s natural healing abilities. Think of us as your skin’s personal support team, giving it exactly what it needs to look refreshed and youthful again.

Laser Resurfacing: Your Skin’s Reset Button

Our laser treatment is like giving your skin a fresh start. The laser creates tiny, controlled channels in your skin - so small you won’t even see them - which triggers your body’s natural healing response. This process encourages your skin to produce new collagen (that’s what keeps skin plump and smooth) while being gentle enough that the surrounding healthy tissue stays protected. The result? Smoother texture, fewer fine lines, and that natural glow you’ve been missing.

Medical-Grade Peels: Deep Cleaning for Better Days Ahead

Think of a medical peel as the ultimate skin refresh. We use carefully selected acids that gently remove the damaged, dull top layers of your skin - kind of like peeling away everything that’s been making you look tired or older than you feel. As these old layers shed (don’t worry, it’s much gentler than it sounds), your fresh, healthy skin underneath gets to shine through with better tone and clarity.

Neurotoxins: Relaxing Away the Years

Here’s something that might surprise you - many of the lines we see aren’t permanent yet. They’re actually caused by repeated muscle movements over time. Our FDA-approved neurotoxins work by gently relaxing the specific facial muscles that create these lines when you smile, frown, or squint. It’s not about freezing your face - it’s about giving those overworked muscles a break so existing lines smooth out and new ones don’t have a chance to form.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Your Consultation: Getting to Know You and Your Goals

We’ll start by sitting down together to really understand what’s bothering you about your skin and what you’re hoping to achieve. Our medical team will examine your skin closely, take photos to track your progress, and determine the best approach for your unique skin type.

If you’re considering a peel, we’ll do a small patch test to make sure your skin responds well - it’s just a tiny area, and it helps us ensure you’ll be comfortable with the full treatment. We’ll also review any medications you’re taking and discuss timing (some treatments work better when you avoid certain pain relievers for a couple days beforehand).

During Your Treatment: Staying Comfortable Throughout

Here’s the good news - these treatments are much more comfortable than most people expect.

Laser sessions use cooling air throughout to keep you comfortable - many patients describe it as feeling like a gentle rubber band snap followed by cool relief. Chemical peels create a mild tingling or warm sensation that most people find quite tolerable. Neurotoxin injections are quick pinches that are over in seconds.

Your session might take anywhere from 15 minutes for targeted neurotoxin treatment up to an hour for a comprehensive laser session. If you’re concerned about comfort, we can apply numbing cream beforehand - just let us know, and we’ll make sure you’re as comfortable as possible.

Preparing for Your Treatment

To help you get the best possible results from your treatment, here’s what we recommend in the weeks leading up to your visit:

Give your skin a break from certain products - If you’re using retinoids, vitamin A products, or strong acids, pause them about a week before your treatment. These products are great for daily skincare, but they can make your skin more sensitive during treatment.

Protect your skin from the sun - Try to avoid significant sun exposure for about two weeks beforehand. If you do need to be outside, use sunscreen religiously. Sunburned or heavily tanned skin doesn’t respond as well to these treatments.

Come in fresh-faced - Please arrive with clean skin and no makeup. We know it might feel a bit vulnerable, but we need to see your natural skin to give you the best treatment possible.

Let us know about cold sores - If you’ve ever had cold sores, especially around your mouth area, please mention this during your consultation. We can prescribe preventive medication to keep you comfortable.

Skip the wine the night before peels - If you’re getting a chemical peel, avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand. Alcohol can increase sensitivity and affect how your skin responds to the peel.

Taking Care of Your Skin Afterward

Your skin just went through a rejuvenating treatment, and now it’s time to help it heal beautifully. Don’t worry - we’ll guide you through every step of the process.

What’s normal right after your treatment: Your skin might look a little pink or feel slightly warm - this is actually a good sign that the treatment is working! This usually settles down within 2-5 days. If you had a chemical peel, you’ll likely see some gentle peeling over the next 3-7 days (think of it as your old, tired skin making way for the fresh, glowing skin underneath).

Here’s how to pamper your healing skin:

  • Apply the healing ointment we give you exactly as we show you - this helps your skin recover faster and more comfortably
  • Become best friends with sunscreen - use a mineral SPF 50+ on treated areas religiously. Your fresh new skin will be more sensitive to UV rays, so this step is crucial
  • Take it easy for 24 hours - skip the intense workout or hot yoga class today. Heat and sweat aren’t your healing skin’s friends right now
  • Be patient with the peeling process - if you had a peel, resist the urge to pick or help the skin along. Let it shed naturally for the best results
  • Stay hydrated and gentle - drink plenty of water and use only the mild skincare products we recommend

We’re here for you: Schedule your follow-up visit in 2-4 weeks so we can see how beautifully your skin is responding and plan your next steps toward your goals.

Good to Know

Is This Treatment Right for You?

We want to make sure you get the amazing results you’re hoping for, so here are a few things to keep in mind:

The best candidates typically have fair to medium skin tones, though we can safely treat many different skin types - we’ll assess this during your consultation and customize your treatment accordingly.

Getting the results you want usually takes a series of 3-5 sessions spaced a few weeks apart. Think of it like going to the gym - one workout is great, but consistent sessions give you the transformation you’re really after. Most of our patients start seeing improvements after their second session, with full results developing over the following months.

Combining treatments works beautifully - that’s why we often recommend using laser, peels, and neurotoxins together. Each treatment addresses different concerns, so combining them gives you more comprehensive results.

Maintaining your results is easy with touch-up treatments every 6-12 months. Once you love how your skin looks, these maintenance sessions help keep it that way.

Making Sure You’re Safe and Comfortable

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, so we need to know about a few things:

If you’re expecting or nursing, we’ll celebrate with you and wait until after this special time to start your treatments.

If you have autoimmune conditions, rosacea, or are prone to hyperpigmentation, don’t worry - we can often still help you, but we’ll want to chat with our physician first to make sure we choose the safest approach for your skin.

Please tell us about any cosmetic fillers you’ve had - this helps us plan the best treatment timing and approach.
